These are great yarns, not only for socks but for sweaters, scarves, mittens, gloves, and any wearable! The yarns are 75% Wool and 25% Nylon. The balls of yarn weigh 100grams or 3.5 ounces. There are 420 meters or 459 yards in each ball, enough to do a pair of socks for a woman or a medum man's foot. The yarn is made in Germany. Suggested knitting needle size is 2-3mm or a size 0-2 US needle. I try and keep most colors in stock at all times in my shop, but sometimes I am out of certain color. If you need the yarn quickly, please email me and ask if that color is in stock. I can usually place an order and have the yarn in my shop in 48 hours and then ship the next day. Also, the colors don't have names, just numbers. Trekking decided that colors just wouldn't describe the sock yarn once it was knitted up.
